Nice Celebrations

Friends and Family final-night celebration tickets will be available for those who’d like to join us for the last two nights – 13th and 14th July – and party in Nice (if you’re riding a Loop that ends in Nice, the cost is included in your Loop already).

Information is below to help you plan and these options will be for sale from December until the end of March.

Hotel space is limited so please plan early.

Are you cycling to Nice? Do you have friends and family who would like to come and cheer you in to Paris and join you for the final celebration party?

Hotel: Lou Castelet, 728, Route des fraises, 06510 Carros

Party: We have hired our own private vineyard for the Sunday evening (14th July). Enjoy incredible views of the hills just north of Nice as you celebrate with the victorious Le Loop cyclists. There will be champagne on arrival, a three course meal, wine from the vineyard and soft drinks included! It’s not cheap but it’s worth every centime!

More info: Nearer the time, to help your friends and family with planning, we’ll provide a pdf (link below) of directions for arrival and instructions on how to cheer on the cyclists from the best vantage points…

(As a rough guide, we’ll arrive on the Promenade des Anglais at approx 2/3 pm, the hotel at approx 4/5pm and the coach will leave for the party at approx 7pm)

Cost: The party and hotel are obviously included for everyone taking part in Loops which finish in Nice as well as those who are cycling the Alps or Mountains Week and have bought the Nice extension.

Costs for friends and family places are as follows:

  • Option 1: Saturday and Sunday July night sharing a room + party: £380 pp
  • Option 2: Saturday and Sunday night in a single room + party: £TBC pp

Additional nights accommodation for friends and family for before or after these dates maybe be possible. Please email Sarah for more information.

Are you cycling to Paris? Do you have friends and family who would like to come and cheer you in to Paris and join you for the final celebration party?

Hotel: Mercure Paris 17, 118 Rue De Tocqueville, 75017 Paris

Party: We have hired a private Seine river cruise boat for the Sunday evening. Watch Paris sparkle as you celebrate with the victorious Le Loop cyclists. There will be champagne on arrival, a three course meal and (lots of) beer and wine included! It’s not cheap but it’s worth every centime!

Option 1: Sunday night sharing a room + party: £210pp

Option 2: Sunday night in a single room + party: £290pp

Additional nights accommodation can be booked for before or after the cyclists arrive at a rate of £160 per room per night including breakfast.

A cycling add-on can be booked for friends and family who would also like to join in with the last day of cycling. See below.

For friends and family who would like to go the extra supportive-mile and cycle the last stage into Paris, we have the option of joining the group for the last day of cycling.

** This usually involves buying the friends and family Paris place for the Sunday night.

** Saturday accommodation in Paris a night early is possible.

You need to make your own way to the start point but we will send information with instructions of how to get there by public transport and your bike will be taken for you (if you have bought our bike transport). More instructions will be sent out nearer the time.

On arrival at the start point, you will meet up with the group, have a short briefing, and then join the Le Loop riders as they cycle to Paris for photos at the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe.

The 100km (approx) ride will finish at the hotel in Paris where your bikes will be loaded for return to the UK.

There are bike transfers available for £30 each to Paris and back.

Grand Loop & Second Half: Your trip includes the Sunday night in Paris. If, however, you’d like to stay on in Paris (or have friends or family coming to meet you who’d like to stay longer in our hotel), you can book extra nights in the Paris hotel for £160 per room, per night including breakfast.

Friends and Family places: These places include Sunday night with the group in the group hotel. If you would like to add the Saturday night or Monday night, you can book extra nights in the Paris hotel for £160 per room, per night including breakfast.
