The first few stages of the Tour are always a unique occasion, but in 2028 we’re expecting an extra special fun send-off. The epic 2028 Champagne/Grand Est collab!
This Champagne-meets-“Grand Est” Loop will be a 3 or 4 stage Loop (depending on the yet-to-be-revealed details of the first few stages) with routes that take us through some absolutely spectacular parts of eastern France; vineyards, shaded forests, historical sites, castles, cathedrals and plenty of famous cycling villages and towns (cue extremely energetic decorations). Reims may be the headliner but Epernay, Thionville, Verdun, Metz & Charleville-Meziere are all incredible supporting acts.
This Loop gives you a sense of how a Grand Tour begins – a huge sense of occasion and some fabulous cycling. You’d never get this from a normal holiday! It’s a unique weekend of Tour cycling and we’d love you to join us!
