The cat’s out of the bag!

Although the official announcement will be on Thursday 30th November, the teaser video that’s quietly appeared on the official Le Tour website clearly tells us that the Grand Depart 2025 will be Lille-Nord de France! 

This has to be one of the most easily accessed Grand Depart for our UK-based riders since Yorkshire 2014! It also lends itself to all sorts of possibilities for Paris-Roubaix-style cobbles (unusually early in the tour) and inevitably heading south for the rest of the Tour.

We’re excited!! But we’ll have to wait until 30th November for more details. Expect route maps and descriptions for the first 2-3 stages. We’ll update this blog as soon as we know more!

If you plan to ride in 2025, make sure you get in early when sales open in July 2024 and purchase a Guaranteed Loop places then. You’ll be able to choose your perfect Loop once the full route is announced in October 2024 (and we’ve had a few days to finalise our Loops).
