Individual Booking Notes
i. This is a £30 per night supplement for our lovely Nice hotel accommodation.
ii. This is a £140 supplement for the final night celebration party. We’ve hired a our own vineyard for a party with dinner and all drinks included. It’ll be worth it!
iii. This is a £20 supplement for the Florence hotel where all hotels prices are somewhat inflated … because it’s Florence.
iv. This is a £30 supplement for the transfer from Bordeaux airport to Aurillac for the 2nd Half Loopers.
v. This is a £50 supplement for the airport transfers to Agen, and departing Gruisson for our Pyrenees Loopers.
General Booking Notes For Everyone
Cancellation policy
Deposits are non-refundable at any time for any reason. However, second payments are fully refundable until the 31st March. For further details of our cancellation policy, please see the event terms and conditions.
What is included in the price
Your accommodation, food (including breakfast, all feed stops, lunch on the road and dinner), and all transfers (including baggage) on tour are included. You are responsible for getting yourself to your start hotel and home from your finish hotel at your own expense. Please note any individual booking notes listed below for your Loop.
Paying for your place
We ask for a £250 non-refundable deposit to reserve your place (£500 for Grand Loopers). The rest of the tour cost will be payable in two further instalments. You will be able to pay each instalment online via your Rider Account shop.
If we’ve sold out of the Loop that you’d like
If the Loop that you would like is sold out, we will be operating a waiting list system to fill any spare places that become available. Please contact us to join a waiting list or for questions about availability.
Terms and Conditions
Please make sure you have read the general Terms and Conditions. The deposit is not refundable and we wouldn’t want you to have missed anything important before paying.
Fundraising
Please be aware of the minimum sponsorship that you will need to raise. This is listed in the table above. More information is in the Terms and Conditions. In particular, please note that we ask you to reach 80% of your fundraising target by the end of April. Participants who have not reached 80% of their target will be asked to pay the fundraising amount themselves or will not be permitted to ride.
Insurance
We recommend that you organise your insurance immediately. A few people have to drop out each year due to work/family commitments, injury and illness – unfortunately some of those who have had to drop out had not yet arranged insurance. Don’t make the same mistake. More information is in the Terms and Conditions.
Bike Transport
You can book transport for your bike to and from France for £50 each way (with a £10 discount until the end of March). We have pick up locations on set dates around the country (Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, Cambridge, Petersfield, Devon, Bristol, London) and we often add others subject to rider geography. These transfers will be available to buy in December/January.
Le Loop clothing
You don’t have to buy our Le Loop clothing but we’d love it if you did. It’s the best kit ever. You will look amazing! It is available to purchase in your Rider Account shop.
Single Supplements
We won’t sell single supplements until Dec/Jan once availability and capacity are certain. They are priced and sold by the night so you can choose to buy none, a few, or as many as possible. If you have any questions about singles, please email Sarah.
Medical Forms
Please be reassured that our cyclist medical forms are for confirmation that we have correct information for our volunteer doctors; they are not used for selection purposes. Details of how to complete and upload this form will be in your Rider Account once you have bought your place.
